1. Introduction

Welcome to Cecilia Home. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our architectural and engineering services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any project.

2. Services Provided

Cecilia Home provides professional architectural design, structural engineering, permit processing, and related consulting services for residential and commercial projects throughout California. All services are performed by licensed professionals in accordance with California state regulations and local building codes.

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your project requirements
• Respond to requests for information and approvals in a timely manner
• Ensure legal ownership or proper authorization for the property in question
• Pay all fees according to the agreed payment schedule

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are established in individual project agreements. Generally, we require a deposit before work begins, with remaining payments due at specified project milestones. All fees are non-refundable once work has commenced, except as required by law. Late payments may incur additional fees and may result in work stoppage.

5. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, plans, and related documents created by Cecilia Home remain our intellectual property. Upon full payment, clients receive a license to use these materials for the specific project for which they were created. Reuse for other projects requires separate authorization and may incur additional fees.

6. Limitation of Liability

Cecilia Home's liability is limited to the fees paid for services rendered. We are not responsible for construction defects, contractor errors, or issues arising from client modifications to approved plans. Our services are provided in accordance with professional standards, but we make no guarantees regarding permit approval timelines or construction costs.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Upon termination, the client is responsible for payment of all work completed to date. Cecilia Home will provide all work product completed up to the termination date upon receipt of final payment.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California. Both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation.
